About this property

The Apartment boasts an elevated position overlooking the bleak waters of Loch Linnhe, near the village of Ardgour on the Scottish mainland. With some of the country's most popular attractions within easy reach, this cosy bolthole is ideal for couples seeking adventure. Climb the external steps and up onto the decked terrace. From here you can see as far as the Corran Ferry, on a crisp, clear morning. Inside you will be welcomed by an open-plan living room exuding a contemporary feel throughout. The dual aspect windows stream in natural light, enhancing the bright colour schemes and textures. Set within wooden frames, they complement the worktops and fixtures, almost reflected in the wood floors sweeping across the room. Curl up on the L-shape sofa and listen to the gentle tapping of the rain on the skylight above you, while you enjoy a film together. On a bright, summer's day they flood the room with sunlight. A well-appointed kitchen sits in one corner of the room. And from here you will come to the shower room displaying modern fixtures and an all-white finish. The double room is just as cosy as the sitting area, again with uplifting colours to brighten your mood. Use the raised terrace for sitting out and enjoying the scenery before you - a mug of something hot finishes the day nicely. Known as the gateway to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, this peaceful village of Ardgour offers a wonderful base for you to walk, climb and explore. Ardnamurchan Point Lighthouse is the most westerly point on the mainland, and well worth a visit. Fort William can be accessed by road or by ferry and hosts a variety of shops, and pubs as well as a plethora of walking opportunities. Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, offers two main walking routes, and the Nevis Range attracts thrill seekers and ski enthusiasts from all over the country. This charming retreat is in an ideal location for discovering the awe and wonder of the West Highlands.

Ardgour, is the gateway to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, attracting walkers and climbers, eager to explore its variety of hills. Ardnamurchan Point Lighthouse marks the most westerly point on the Scottish mainland, and as well as being a working lighthouse also houses an exhibition with hands-on displays on lighthouse life. Fort William can be reached by crossing on the Corran ferry, which ploughs regularly across the narrows of Loch Linnhe, or by road. The area has numerous villages with a good range of shops, restaurants and facilities for visitors, all set among magnificent scenery.
