This delightful semi-detached cottage is situated in an idyllic location in the pretty village of Insh, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Hillfoot is perfect for a family or group of friends who wish to explore this beautiful area and embrace some of the many activities on offer. The accommodation is set mostly over the ground floor and includes a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast area, a cosy sitting room with a dining area, a spacious and modern bathroom, as well as a useful shower room. There are two comfortable bedrooms; a king-size double with fitted wardrobes and lovely views is located on the ground floor, and a pretty twin room can be found on the first floor. In addition to the sitting room there is a handy snug room with its own TV and a sofa bed, ideal if you can’t all decide what to watch on TV or need a quiet space to settle with a good book. Outside there is a large garden at the front, surrounded by trees and mountain views, and at the rear there is a raised garden and a patio, just perfect for relaxing or playing games whilst enjoying the beautiful setting. The lovely Highland village of Insh lies midway between Kingussie and Aviemore, the hub of the British skiing industry, but is also close to Loch Insh and Glenfeshie which ensures there are plenty of activities and pursuits for all ages and abilities all year round. On the banks of Loch Insh is a highly regarded watersports centre where a range of activities are on offer including sail and paddle sports, raft building, fishing and rowing, and after an active day on the loch there is a lovely restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal whilst soaking up the views. The area is rich in wildlife and the Highland Wildlife Park in Kincraig is just a ten minute drive away and is home to the UK’s only female polar bear. The Cairngorms National Park and is an area of outstanding natural beauty with lots to do and see, and offers plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. Golfers are also well catered for with a number of courses nearby including Kingussie which is one of Scotland's most beautiful courses.
