This timber faced property was built in 2019 and sits in an elevated position overlooking Loch Dunvegan with views towards the castle. The property has a modern open plan living space taking full advantage of the outstanding views. The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, living room with a wood burner and an open plan staircase to the first floor. There is also a separate shower room on the ground floor and the owner has thoughtfully provided complimentary toiletries. On the first floor is the comfortable master bedroom with a huge picture window overlooking the loch, a second double bedroom and a stunning bathroom. The property sits in a great sized plot and is ideal for guests wanting to escape and experience the rural lifestyle of Skye. This is an excellent property in a wonderful location. This was our second visit to the property and it did not disappoint. It is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.The only thing that I could suggest that would be helpful for future guests is a glove to wear for opening the fire as the handle becomes very hot. This said I could not criticise the property in any way.

Probably the best cottage we’ve stayed in (and we’ve stayed in quite a few). Outstanding views from every window, comfortable, clean, well equipped and cosy. If you’re after remote, this is the place for you.Excellent communication from the hosts as well. Very glad we found this gem.
