Had a wonderful week up at Owl Cottage. What a place! What a location! A wonderful place to just chill and relax, just what we needed. Really comfy, cozy place and EVERYTHING you could need while away from home. The open fire place in the kitchen / diner is a spectacular feature, although we didn't light it as the house was warm enough. The views from the cottage are excellent with a regular visit from a Kestrel just after sunrise each morning with a symphony of other birds as well. Loved the ravens with their 'gronk, gronk' call.Quite a good central location as a base as well, with some excellent areas to visit. Within a reasonable driving distance.Would definitely recommend this place.

We had a fabulous week at Owl Cottage, it has everything you could possibly need. The cottage is cosy with open fires in both the kitchen/diner and the living room. The location has a stunning view no matter what the weather is, seeing beautiful sun rises and sun sets over the water. The location is a great central point to visit both more northern regions and southern. With cute villages either side for all your needs. Highly recommend Owl Cottage and hope to stay again in the future 😊
