A lovely snug house with lots of original and authentic features like sloping floors upstairs, wonky door frames and creaking wooden floors. We loved it. It's in an excellent location, just a short walk to shops, cafes and pubs and a beautiful forest with woodland trails. The large enclosed garden was great for the dogs.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Grantown itself and the wider area is wonderful to explore - places like Culloden, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness easily doable in a day from here, or stay closer and appreciate the forests (especially on a hot day). The cottage itself is wonderful - extremely clean, pretty much everything you could need in terms of household appliances etc, and the luxury of two bathrooms. Some of the styling/appliances may be a bit old in style but that adds to the charm, all the appliances were clean and worked, and we loved the decor. First time here but I doubt it will be our last and will definitely check to see if available before heading to the highlands again - thank you!
