Nestled in a beautiful rural location in the Cairngorms National Park, this property offers a superb base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland for a couple or solo traveller. Enjoy a wide range of activities including climbing, walking, mountain biking, riding, fishing, golfing and skiing. It is the perfect base for bird-spotting with the RSPB reserve at Loch Garten only 6 miles away. Abernethy Forest at Nethybridge (6.5 miles) has the largest remaining section of Caledonian Pine. The forests around are full of interesting wildlife from red squirrels, crested tits, crossbills and capercaillie. Loch Morlich (15 miles) offers a beautiful beach and stunning walks around Rothiemurchus as well as stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountain range. It also has a water sports centre, offering sailing, canoeing, paddleboarding and windsurfing. Enjoy a day following the Malt Whisky Trail from Grantown through to Aberlour.

On entering the property, you will find the welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a great space to relax after a day out exploring the local area. Venture outside to the furnished decked area where you can enjoy views of the countryside. You may also get the opportunity to spot regular visitors, including deer, red squirrels, owls, hares, rabbits, and lots of garden birds.
