Torr Caladh is a charming and spacious cottage in Glenfinnan, praised for its peaceful setting and homely atmosphere. Guests frequently mention the well-equipped kitchen, generous welcome pack, and beautiful garden. While most found the property clean and comfortable, a few noted issues with maintenance and cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom and some furnishings. The location is ideal for exploring the area, though visitors should be mindful of local traffic. Overall, the cottage offers a welcoming and enjoyable stay, especially for those seeking a relaxing retreat.
Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, but several reviews mention issues such as pet hair, dirty windows, hair in the fridge, and grubby skirtings. Some maintenance concerns, like black mould and stained bedding, were also raised.
The cottage is described as being in a lovely, peaceful setting with beautiful surroundings, making it ideal for a relaxing holiday. Some mention of local traffic and parking issues, but these relate more to the area than the property itself.
Guests generally found the cottage extremely comfortable and homely, with spacious rooms and a welcoming feel. A few noted damp smells in bedrooms and minor issues with heating, but overall comfort was highly rated.
The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and provides everything needed for a home-from-home stay. However, some guests reported broken or missing items, weak shower pressure, and maintenance issues such as a broken bath panel and loose furniture.
Many guests appreciated the generous welcome pack and thoughtful touches, though it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

I would highly recommend this cottage. It was clean and very comfortable and had a feeling of a family home about it. The outdoor space is wonderful for watching the birds and deer from. The log fire and huge television and large comfy sofa make evening in front of the television most enjoyable. The proximity to the two local munros was fabulous. Could bag them straight from the cottage. The viaduct and Jacobite train are a delight to see. Only thing I would say is that the driveway is tight and care is needed when turning at the top of the shared driveway.
