A stunning, detached cottage situated in the village of Elgol, in a fabulously elevated location, in the southeast corner of the beautiful Isle of Skye. Built to take absolute advantage of this desirable location, the view from this Elgol cottage is very impressive indeed, looking out over the sea to the Inner Hebrides. Comfortably-appointed throughout, providing bright and contemporary accommodation, this Skye cottage would be ideal for a family group, or group of friends, who wish to enjoy time together in this magical area of Scotland. This Skye cottage is set over two floors with two spacious bedrooms downstairs benefiting from en-suite facilities, one of which also boasts a walk-in wardrobe. On the first floor is a further king-size double with the bonus of an en-suite shower room, along with Velux windows from which sea and mountain views can be seen. There is so much space, with the cottage also offering a separate shower room, and a snug. On the ground floor level of this Skye cottage, there is a stylish kitchen, with a breakfast bar, well-equipped and perfect for preparing delicious home-cooked meals. Steps lead up to a dining room and stairs to the snug. The raised floor sitting room exudes comfort and style with its woodburning stove, high beamed ceiling, tall windows, and French doors leading to the balcony. Outside, the large balcony is a simply perfect spot to sit, relax and view the local wildlife whilst savouring this magnificent location. With just a short stroll down to the busy harbour, you can easily enjoy boat trips to the Islands of Canna, Rhum, Eigg and Soay, while trips to Loch Coruisk, in the heart of the Cuillins, are very popular, with regular sightings of whales, dolphins, basking sharks and puffins along the way! The Isle of Skye is a breathtaking island, and a trip to Talisker Distillery and its great visitor centre is a must to taste the local whiskey. With so much to see and do from this wonderful Elgol cottage, you will be sure of an unforgettable holiday. EPC Rating: Band D
