About this property

This cottage is one not to miss in the Ardnamurchan area with stunning views over the sea to Mull. The lovingly upgraded and immaculate cottage has lovely landscaped gardens, with summer house and seating areas take advantage of the dramatic seaviews. The cottage is in a stunning coastal location, situated in little rural village of Drimnin on the picturesque Morvern Peninsula in the quiet but beautiful Ardnamurchan area of the West Highlands of Scotland. A short stroll from the house will bring you to a lovely pebble beach where you can also catch the weekly water taxi service over to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.

There is wild life on the doorstep including Red Deer which often come into the garden, Sea Otters, Seals, Buzzards, sea birds, and the rare Scottish wild cat which also comes through the garden. The Peninsula is famed for its natural rugged beauty and has excellent routes for waling and cycling. Bird life including the magnificent Golden eagle and Sea eagle, and marine life are also easy to spot including porpoises that can regularly be spotted chasing the ferry and other boats. Otter Adventures specialise in small group bespoke adventures across the Ardnamurchan Peninsulas, tours do have to be pre-booked so for more information see Otter Adventures at Strontian.

Drimnin is a small scattered village with a local restaurant specialising in local produce while near by Lochaline has further restaurants, cafes and shops together with the car ferry for Mull, further facilities and amenities are available in Mull, Strontian, Fort William and Oban. Its location in this most attractive area of the Highlands means that it is well-placed to take advantage of the many leisure and pleasure activities which the area has to offer. There are regular ferry services from Lochaline over to Fishnish on the Isle of Mull.
