The cottage is newly refurbished and has been done very thoughtfully. The new kitchen is beautiful with the most amazing views across the Cromaty Firth, as has the garden, where garden furniture is provided. Who needs the TV when you have that amazing view?! We were surprised how close we were to Cromarty as that was not mentioned in the listing. We found Cromarty to be a very interesting little town with some lovely shops and several good places to eat and drink. We also found plenty of interesting places and the most amazing scenery on the Black Isle to visit without having to drive too far. Thank you Mairi, for your friendliness and for making our holiday so special.

Burnside was very spacious and lovely and clean with great facilities, in such a peaceful location. We were made to feel so welcome with a splendid welcome pack, for both us and our spaniel. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit the Black Isle.

It was better than we thought it might be. It requires finding, so arrive in the day light if possible. However if you arrive in the dark, the villagers of Jemimaville are friendly, so no problem. It was clean and well equipped. The owner was there to greet us and was helpful and friendly. When leaving we felt we had left a new found friend behind.
