Guests that stayed at this property said

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, quietness, and proximity to wildlife and scenic walks. It is also appreciated for being within a reasonable distance from Aviemore and Inverness, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.

The property is repeatedly described as comfortable, roomy, and homely, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. However, one review mentioned the house being cold upon arrival, which suggests some issues with heating that could affect comfort.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and provided logs for the fire. However, there are several reports of minor maintenance issues such as a broken toilet seat, issues with doors, and a non-functional towel rail, which suggest room for improvement.

While guests have mentioned the provision of logs for the fire and a new fridge, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. It should be noted that such gestures, if provided, are not guaranteed.

A little tired in places, however this did not detract from a fabulous week and added that edge of character. All in all a great week gad by all, we all would certainly entertain coming back in the future for another stay. Thank you for your hospitality. Paul Bramley.

.The only problem was the towel rail in the ensuite bathroom did not work, so damp towels was not good. Also when Charlotte said she had put the heating on, it did not work. Otherwise it was a good week.

There is a track opposite the cottage that gave a great first day walk and views over the hills. The house is very big, great garden and views - bit warm when it was warm outside due to the Esse cooker, but nice to be able to sit outside. Easy for days out near Aviemore and Inverness. Findhorn valley of the raptors is another great walk (but keep that a secret).
