This delightful, well-equipped detached cottage is situated next to the owners’ home, but is totally private and is ideal for a small family or a couple who will want to explore this beautiful unspoilt part of the highlands of Scotland together. Inside this comfortable, single-storey cottage is a welcoming sitting room with an open fire, that leads through to a well-equipped kitchen/diner where tasty meals can be prepared with ease. Completing the accommodation are two lovely bedrooms, consisting of a king-size double and a single, along with a separate bathroom. The neat south-facing front garden is a real sun trap and a wonderful place for a quiet read with a refreshing drink. With the village of Cannich just 1.5 miles in one direction, and the village of Tomich the same distance in the other, visitors can shop and dine in both locations. Struy has a well-regarded local inn where good food is served and Cannich has The Slaters Arms Country Pub and Restaurant, both places come highly recommended. This charming holiday home is ideally placed for touring the area with Loch Ness just a short drive away. Why not visit Urquhart Castle with its excellent visitors centre and then follow the road along the banks of the Loch into Inverness where the Culloden Moor Battlefield offers a wonderful visitor experience for all ages? However for outdoor enthusiasts everything you could want is close to the cottage with beautiful Glen Affric, Glen Cannich and Glen Strathfarrar on your doorstep. With wildlife in abundance, stunning scenery and a cosy cottage to call home, there can be nothing better!

The pretty Highland village of Cannich provides easy and direct access into the beautiful Glen Affric National Nature Reserve, and is a perfect location for walking, cycling, fishing and touring the area. The village offers a grocery shop/Post Office and a pub serving food, and close by the villages of Drumnadrochit and Beauly provide enhanced services. Within driving distance is Loch Ness and the vibrant city of Inverness.
