It sleeps six guests across three bedrooms, with wheelchair accessibility downstairs to accommodate guests with reduced mobility. The cottage sits within the spectacular Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by woodland and nature. Skiing, climbing and walking are all on offer nearby. If you’re a wildlife lover, you’ll be in your element, with red squirrels, deer and birds frequently spotted nearby. The charming village of Boat of Garten (1.5 miles) has excellent places to eat and drink. If you love experiencing life on two weeks, you can take advantage of scenic cycling routes and bike hire options. Family-friendly attractions include the Highland Wildlife Park (13.5 miles) and the Landmark Adventure Centre (3 miles). For wider adventures, head to Inverness (25 miles) and follow the famous North Coast 500 Route.

This blue-tinged holiday home is laid out over two floors. Downstairs, a welcoming hallway leads into a spacious open-plan dining and sitting area, with dual-aspect windows and skylights allowing in plenty of daylight. In mild weather, you can invite the outdoors in through the patio doors. The kitchen has everything you need for group meals. There are two comfortable twin bedrooms on this floor, one with an en-suite wheelchair-friendly wet room and WC. There’s also a handy utility room. Upstairs, you’ll have a gallery-style sitting room which, with its cosy wood burner, is lovely for relaxing in on cooler evenings. There’s also a second dining area here. The third bedroom, a double, benefits from its own en-suite shower, and there’s also a separate bathroom for added convenience.

The enclosed garden is a tranquil haven surrounded by trees and visiting wildlife. You’ll have a decking area for relaxed outdoor dining, complete with garden furniture and a BBQ for warm evenings. Private parking is available.
