Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Sitting-out area with garden furniture. 2-acre landscaped grounds and woodland (shared). Bike store. Private parking. No smoking. Please note: No children, including babes in arms. There are 5 steps to the garden.. Adjacent to Glencoe Lochan, this quiet and secluded holiday property is in the wing of the old Glencoe estate house. Last re-built in 1785 it incorporates parts of the home of MacIain, chief of the MacDonalds of Glencoe. Renowned for its magnificent mountain ranges, scenery and wildlife, it is ideally situated for exploring the Highlands and the Inner Isles. Activities in the area include climbing, skiing, golf, mountain biking, fishing and watersports and plenty of gentle forest walks, museums, distilleries, castles and gardens to visit. Fort William and Oban are easily reached. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Approach to property is by a rough or gravel track.

No children or babies allowed.

Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property.

    We had to leave the accommodation because of family problems. However as we opened the door there was a bad damp smell. We found the kitchen very damp with black mould on the wall. The bed was very hard and the furniture was very tired. The stairs were quite steep and the outside steps would have been quite slippery when wet.

    Glencoe Cottage is a wonderful property, lots of character, wonderfully maintained, surrounded by amazing landscapes that will take your breath away, in a great place to go exploring what the area has to offer, easy access to local bus routes, lots of walks, and adventures to be had. Loved our time in Glencoe, lost our hearts to the Highlands

    Great place to be based to explore Glencoe and the surrounding areas. Very peaceful and secluded but amenities and activities nearby if needed. If you enjoy peace and quiet then this is the place for you.
