Foinaven is a beautifully appointed bungalow resting just outside of Aviemore's town centre in the scenic Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. At the front of the property sits a light and fresh vestibule area with plenty of space to kick off your muddy boots and hang up your coat after a long, tiring day of exploring this scenic area. Heading left from the entrance you arrive at a delightful, neutrally decorated living dining room, perfect to put your feet up and chill out. Step through and discover the two pleasant, clay tone bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and a single bed, perfect for children to come and stay.
Make the most of the stunning family bathroom by enjoying a long, relaxing soak at the end of an eventful day. The interior of Foinaven is topped off with a classy kitchen, an excellent space to cook a delicious family meal for all to enjoy. In the summer, sit out in your secure, enclosed garden with a pleasant decking for you to use, there is even lockable storage for your bikes should you want to cycle the multitude of trails on your doorstep. Aviemore is a wonderful destination for an outdoor holiday, with fishing, walking, sailing and birdwatching aplenty in the area.
The National Park is also accessible, with a day in the beautiful city available in Inverness 30 miles away, showcasing incredible architecture and a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Foinaven provides warming accommodation for any time of year. EPC Rating: Band D
Aviemore is a town in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and Cairngorms National Park, with lovely walking in the surrounding hills, and golf courses. There is also bird watching, with rare species to be found including Ospreys and Capercaillie. The area is home to historic castles, distilleries, fishing on the River Spey and skiing in the Cairngorm mountains and at the Lecht ski centre.

Very handy for popping into the village. Website said there could be disruption from nearby building work but this had all finished. Enclosed back garden had outdoor furniture and was very private, other than the steam train that went by twice a day - toot, toot!

Nice secure garden, Good parking area just a 15 mi ute flat walk to townl Hot Water pressure in kitchen was very poor as was the shower pressure. Some of the kitchen utensils were in a poor condition, especially the Frying Pan which needs a simple replacement. Otherwise a very clean and practical cottage.

Very quiet cul--de-sac with shops and cafes and pubs within 15 minute walking distance. The bungalow had everything we needed. The only negative we had, was the water pressure was quite low, so when the taps were on "hot" the water trickled out, and when we had a shower, the water pressure was still too low. To be fair, I never reported this issue, whilst we there, and I think, if I had, it would have been rectified.
