This fabulous, detached cottage of Avonglen rests within the Cairngorms National Park at the northern end of the popular village of Aviemore. This well-appointed and fully equipped property enjoys quality fixtures and furnishings throughout and rests in a quiet cul-de-sac, enjoying a private driveway with space for three vehicles: perfect for a family's getaway to Scotland! Head inside to find the entrance vestibule which features handy coat pegs and a shoe rack and leads into a hallway enjoying real oak flooring and environmentally friendly LED lighting. To the left of the hallway is the sitting room, which also features real oak flooring, whilst boasting two Italian leather suites, a Clintique chair and complementary oak tables; the 42" Smart TV is connected to Sky and a Bose movie system, so you can enjoy movies, sports and BT sports. The space also features paintings and a crackling open fire, giving it that touch of charm and warmth. The dining room is nearby and hosts an oak dining table with six leather chairs, whilst also enjoying LED lighting, pictures of local wildlife and an antique wine rack; guests may enjoy a wee, complimentary dram from the crystal decanter. Continue to the kitchen, a fully tiled space which features top-of-the-range utilities, such as a Miele fridge/freezer, Neff double oven and grill, Neff gas hob, a Siemens dishwasher and a Smeg washing machine; the space also provides Denby crockery, so you're well-equipped for family meals! A handy tumble dryer, along with four hireable Trek mountain bikes, can be found in a shed to the rear of the property. Completing the facilities is a family bathroom, also resting on the ground floor, which is fully tiled with Porcelanosa bathroom fittings, and is where you can enjoy a relaxing bath or a refreshing shower, thanks to the pressurised and eco-friendly shower head; the space's vanity unit is also enhanced by a mist-less, backlit LED mirror. At night, choose between three lovely bedrooms to rest in, the first being a ground-floor twin with American light-oak single beds; progress upstairs to find the latter bedrooms, with the room on the right featuring a European king-size bed, and the room to the left offering a king-size bed with a real oak furnishings. All the bedrooms boast lamps, radio alarm clocks, fitted storage, TVs with integral DVD and Egyptian cotton bedding. The property enjoys access to a well-kept, mature garden at the back, which is fully enclosed with a two-metre fence and lockable gate; privacy is ensured, and children can play safely on the full-sized swing, whilst you enjoy alfresco dining on the patio, where outdoor seating and a barbecue with a rotisserie can be found. The large lockable shed in the garden also offers plenty of storage for your own bikes, skis, two sledges and boards, whilst also supplying walking poles and binoculars for Osprey spotting! The village of Aviemore is not only picturesque but is well-equipped for your self-catering holiday, with a handy convenience store, a fish & chips shop and a pizzeria resting a short distance away from the cottage. Aviemore is also home to the fantastic sights of the Aviemore Ring Cairn and Stone Circle and the Craigellachie National Nature Reserve, be sure to check them out! There is still so much more to see within the National Park, from the nearby wonders of Loch Garten and Abernethy National Nature Reserve to the famed peak of Ben Macdui, Ski Centres and the Highland Wildlife Park; you'll rarely be bored! Aviemore is an outstanding holiday destination, situated in the centre of the Scottish Highlands and inside the Cairngorms National Park. The location provides excellent fishing, excellent trekking in the surrounding hills and woodlands, and excellent golfing on the area's numerous renowned courses. There's also sailing, horseback riding, and birding, with rare species like Ospreys and Capercaillies to be discovered.
