Loch Migdale is a freshwater loch ideal for canoeing and paddle boarding. A visit to the Falls of Shin is a must to view the very popular waterfall.

The nearby Dornoch Firth provides opportunities for scenic walks and birdwatching, while just a short drive away, the historic town of Dornoch itself boasts a beautiful cathedral, sandy beach, and world-renowned golf course. The local pipe band play in the square every Saturday evening in the summer months around 8 PM.
