We had another wonderful week at Riverview Cottage. This was our third visit and we will definitely be back again. There is just so much to see and do in the area, particularly if you are prepared to get off the beaten track. The weather was excellent once again which always helps. Brodie, our four-legged companion, now treats this as his home from home with a nice big secure garden to run around in and explore.

Another stay, our third, here, and we loved our week at Riverview again!Eilidh and Stuart continue to host with warmth, care and - though we have never really needed to - we know that they would be here to help with anything. This place really makes us feel at home and is really ideal for us. Another wonderful time!

What a lovely place to stay. The cottage was roomy and had everything we needed for the stay. The bottle of wine and cake on arrival was a treat too. The garden was ample and well fenced - perfect for our sensitive labrador. The location is beautiful, with loads of places to walk and relax in nature. We had pinemartens in the garden most evenings. The hosts were great - nothing was too much trouble for them. Would recommend visiting a supermarket before you arrive - there is small shop about 5-10 minutes drive away which has a good selection of essentials (and a cash point at the post office), but the nearest large supermarket is an hour's drive. Would also recommend having some cash on you -the local businesses prefer it and also reception for card machines can sometimes be tricky! We intend to return!
