This beautifully converted former church boasts superb views of the Small Isles and the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye. It is situated on the north coast of Ardnamurchan and provides a peaceful and calm rural retreat.

The building was erected in the 1850s and retains much of the original wood and other features. A small entrance porch leads to a spacious utility room with Belfast sink, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier and the main living area comprises a dining area, as well as a comfortable seating area with wood burning stove and a well equipped kitchen. You can spend hours relaxing on the built in window seats gazing out across the Minch to the Small Isles and Skye. The upstairs mezzanine bedroom has a double bed with views of the islands to the north and Ben Hiant, West Ardnamurchan's only mountain, to the south.

The bathroom includes bath and separate shower and the small downstairs bedroom has full sized bunk beds. A mixture of night storage heaters and underground heating provide background heating to the wood burner. To the back of the house is a fenced garden area with a generous log store for your use.Western Ardnamurchan is a paradise for those who love the natural world. Kilmory is a quiet crofting township which is teeming with wildlife. Skylarks, birds of prey, wild orchids, pine martins, shore life and other flora and fauna abound. The seashore is a short distance away. Walking in the area ranges from easy saunters to moorland hikes and hill walks and there are many geological and archaeological features of interest, including the site of the recently excavated Viking longboat burial.
