We had a wonderful holiday at The Barn! Arrival was very easy, as we could simply let ourselves in, and we were welcomed by a spotless, cosy cottage that had everything we could possibly need and more. It’s a perfect place for families: there were toys and books for all ages, a great TV we could log into our own accounts on, plus a cot and high chair that made things so convenient for our little one. They especially loved sitting by the window, watching the ducks and chickens outside. The hosts were warm and thoughtful, leaving us a lovely welcome basket with snacks, milk, and fresh eggs. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. The location is fantastic, with so much to explore nearby with the Trossachs, historic castles, and plenty of beautiful Scottish countryside. We couldn’t recommend The Barn more highly for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn and would absolutely recommend it, especially If you are looking for peace and quiet and a good base for some great hillwalking! The owners, June and Mac, made us feel very welcome and are very kind. There are plenty of hills a short drive away or if you fancy a car-free day you can walk from the farm itself (and get some great views!) Glasgow is also accessible if you'd like a day in the city (we'd recommend driving to Milngavy and taking the train from there to the centre - all very easy). We loved our stay and hope to return.

So nice to stay on a working farm in such a nice barn conversion with a kind friendly host. The location is terrific it feels remote at the end of a farm track in the Campsies , but isn't at all because of the good roads from Glasgow. Lovely welcome and such a cosy barn conversion with wood burning stove and light large double glazed windows . It feels like a proper place within the courtyard of the farm. I liked it all.
