Accessed by a farm track; The Barn has been renovated and refurbished to provide a cosy and welcoming home at all times of the year.
Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Barn has an immaculately presented living room with dining table, comfortable sofas and a wood burner for cooler evenings. There are two very attractively presented bedrooms, a kingsize bed and a twin with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, a family bathroom and kitchen well-equipped to prepare a family meal. Guests have an enclosed private garden just across the lane where you can sit and relax and taking in the beautiful views. Depending on the season there many be lambs and calfs in the fields to admire, and local wild birds to see.
The pretty village of Fintry is only 3 miles with places to eat, coffee shop and local shop. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling in the Campsie Fells. For days out Loch Lomond National Park, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Doune Castle and Glengoyne distillery are all within driving distance.

Lovely place - road up to the barn is a bit bumpy ( 4by 4 car is useful!) and the private garden is not attached to the barn - it is across the track. But the views are spectacular and the welcome pack is a lovely addition. You are actually on the farm - living next to the chickens and sheet and cows so you are in amongst the countryside.Very picturesque and peaceful ☺️

The Barn was in a beautiful location with easy access to Stirling, Glasgow and Loch Lomond within 30-40 minutes. There is a Co-Op nearby for supplies. There was a pint of milk and basket full of treats including a delicious home made fruit cake. This is really helpful on first arriving so you're able to have a snack and cuppa to recharge after the journey, especially if you have children with you! The barn was very clean and well equipped with kitchen essentials, like tin openers, cling film and tea towels. The barn is on a working farm with chickens and ducks opposite which were lovely to watch. We had a lovely stay and were made most welcome, we will return! Thank you.

The accommodation was clean and well presented throughout and had everything required. Welcoming hosts and a lovely welcome hamper for when we arrived. The views here are incredible! It is mentioned the track to get to the property is ‘rough’. We had what I would call a ‘standard sized family car’ with a roof box. For the final 150m of the track the bottom of our car was scraping along the track, making horrible noise and genuinely worried that something would be ripped off - I assume the weight of farm vehicles over the years have made the tyre tracks so low compared to the middle part of the track. Not prepared to risk this all week, the closet we could park was quarter of a mile down the track. The length of this walk, down a fairly steep lane, in whatever weather with two young children, at the beginning and end of each day wasn’t ideal. If you have a n SUV/Land Rover you’ll be fine, but a lower sitting car, beware.
