About The Rings

The Rings are a selection of cottages set in 90 acres of peaceful Fife farmland near Cupar.  Accommodation is flexible and accessible, catering for small and large parties.  The cottages can be booked individually or book the entire accommodation for family groups of up to 16 guests.  The wall between two main living areas can be moved to create one large open plan space.

The rural setting offers stunning views and there are beautiful walks across the Howe of Fife to the Lomond Hills.  St Andrews is a mere 20 minutes away, Dundee only 35 minutes and Edinburgh an hour's drive.  Perthshire and the Angus glens are within easy reach for day trips.

Our cottages are flexible and accommodation can be tailored to your needs.  Our aim is to enable all members of your family or group to have a memorable and enjoyable holiday together.  We offer the freedom of self-catering accommodation in a central location for your dream holiday in Fife. 

Wheelchair Accessible Accommodation

We can accommodate families/groups of up to 16 people, enabling people of all abilities to enjoy a holiday with loved ones.  The house can be sub-divided for smaller groups.

Living space is accessible with rooms all on one level.  Corridors and doors are all wheelchair accessible, and turning circles are built into each room.

Other accessible features include ceiling track hoists in three of the en-suite bedrooms leading into wet rooms with baths.  

Easy Access

Every bedroom has double French windows opening out onto decking, which leads to the parking areas.

Our cottages can accommodate families/groups of up to 16 people. The wall between the two main living areas can move to make one open plan space.

The house can be sub-divided to allow smaller groups to book what they need.  All the rooms are on one level with corridors and doors wheel chair accessible. We offer ceiling track hoists in three of the en-suite bedrooms leading to wet rooms with baths. The decor takes account of those with sensory impairments and the sound proofed walls ensure a peaceful stay.  Guests can create their own package to include any number of the following:

2 studio apartments.

2 lounge/kitchen/dining areas separated by a move-able wall.

Wheelchair Accessible Car & Parking

The Rings also has a wheelchair accessible car.  It can hold a wheelchair user, driver and two further passengers.  

Access to The Rings is via a wide mono-blocked entrance and wooden gates.  The car parking and drive areas have been designed using cell track which is a gravel infill system suitable for wheelchair users. 

Our upper car park has space for 6 cars.  A drop off area and turning area with two accessible car parking spaces are adjacent to the house.

Availability/ Additional Information

Changeover days for weekly stays are usually Fridays.  Changeover days for 3 or 4 night breaks are usually Mondays and Fridays.  Some peak season dates are limited to 7 night stays. 

Accommodation is available for check-in between 4pm and 6pm.  Departure is by 10am (early arrival and later departure is by arrangement only). 

All bed linen, duvets, towels and electric are included in the booking price.  Other items provided include dishwasher powder, washing up liquid and basic cleaning items. 

Pets are welcome for an additional charge - please advise us when booking.  Assistance dogs are welcome free of charge.  Please bring along your own pet bedding.  

A travel cot can be hired for £10 per say, and a high chair for £5 per stay.  Please request these when booking, and please bring along your own cot bedding.
