The Wee Hideaway is a well-received holiday rental in Cupar, praised for its tranquillity, cleanliness, and cosy atmosphere. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and snacks, and the property's proximity to local shops and scenic walks. While the bed size and parking have been minor concerns for some, the overall sentiment is that of a comfortable and homely stay, ideal for those looking to unwind.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention that The Wee Hideaway is very clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.

The property is commended for its lovely location, central to various attractions and surrounded by beautiful scenery. However, some guests noted a lack of nearby gastro-pubs, slightly affecting the score.

Guests find the property comfortable and cosy, with a relaxing atmosphere. A few guests mentioned the bed being small for taller individuals, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

The royal burgh and parish of Fife is a farming community on the River Tay, overlooking the swampy Mugdrum Island, where salmon fishing is popular. The ancient Lindores Abbey, located to the east, is a mediaeval and overgrown ruin that has yet to be discovered. The Lindores Abbey Distillery for whisky aficionados, the National Trust's Balmerino Abbey with its dramatic 13th-century ruins, and the Backhouse Rossie Estate, an RHS Partner Garden with rare flora, woodland trekking, and children's trails are just a few of the neighbouring attractions. The Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve in Morton Lochs has something for everyone, with a constantly changing panorama that includes seals hauling themselves out of the water, hungry birds looking for food, and a diverse array of natural treasures. The remains of Macduff's Cross, the Newburgh Sailing Club, and the Laing Museum, which houses antiquarian antiquities from Newburgh's Alexander Laing, are among the many attractions that lure people to the community of Newburgh. This lovely spot is ideal for guests looking for a relaxing holiday in the Fife countryside.

The Wee Hideaway was clean, comfortable, warm and with very pleasant decor. Although it is on the main road we weren’t troubled by traffic or other noise. We brought two dogs and appreciated the park and walk along the estuary being within easy reach. We got a very pleasant taster of Fife. Thank you.

Although small there was everything we needed and the treats on arrival were a lovely touch. We’ll be back next year !
