Upon arrival the property was not clean. We had received an earlier text from the owner apologising that the dishwasher hadn't been emptied. That didn't bother us and Martin has advised in advance of our arrival.Unfortunately we found the carpets, fridge, bathrooms, shower, cutlery drawer, pots, cooker, kitchen sink, cooker hood and toaster all dirty. The oven was filthy and greasy. Every skirting in the property was dirty. The toilets were shocking. It seemed everything we touched was dirty.I spent the first hour and a half cleaning before we could unpack.I contacted Martin, the owner and sent him photos. He was very apologetic and seemed genuinely alarmed at our findings. The exterior was dirty and unwelcoming. Kitchen and downstairs very cold but floors 2 and 3 cosy.
