We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Newburgh. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We visited the Fife coast, Scone Palace, Dundee (by train from Cupar so we could travel on the rail bridge) and Falkland Palace.Just a couple of points to note...The parking space is on a slope, so your car needs to have a good handbrake. There are lots of stairs, which generally isn't a problem, but the turret staircase to the first floor doesn't have a handrail. A little bit awkward for us as we have both had recent knee surgeries. There isn't anywhere to eat out locally, but there is a very well stocked Co-op a few yards away on the opposite side of the road. We had a couple of lunches out instead, The Wee Chippy in Anstruther, and The Covenanter in Falkland. Both were excellent.

Rented this for visiting my sister who lives in Perth. Convenient location and parking at front of house. I have an electric car and there is a Public Charger 2 minutes away. It is a lovely cottage with everything you need. The living room is very cosy with an open fire.Local walks along the river are lovely and the locals are very friendly.I can thoroughly recommend this cottage/house for a Central Scotland break.
