Ravensdown is a friendly and stylish guest house, run by David and Yoka which provides excellent value high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in central Edinburgh. A spacious Edwardian house built in the early 1900's, Ravensdown has spectacular views of the city skyline, Edinburgh castle and Arthur's Seat. We are situated to the north of the ancient city within easy reach to the port of Leith, close to lovely pubs, restaurants and the Royal Yacht Britannia. We are also approximately a ten minute walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens and Stockbridge.

Edinburgh is a hive of activity especially in August when the Edinburgh Festival takes over the city, which celebrates the best in culture including comedy, jazz and literature. Edinburgh has a fantastic array of high street and boutique shops where you pick up the latest fashions. Eat in the some of the best restaurants in Scotland and have a drink in the many pubs and bars throughout the city. There are many attractions throughout the city including Edinburgh Castle, art galleries, museums and much more to keep all entertained.

We are a family, motor and gay friendly bed and breakfast with wireless internet access and ample free parking. Dutch and English are spoken and we are pleased to offer special rates at certain times of the year. Golfing parties are also welcome.
