This wonderfully light, spacious first floor apartment is beautifully furnished with a stylish living room, complete with piano and small balcony, offering the perfect base for a memorable Edinburgh holiday. The generous kitchen/dining room is well-equipped for those creative cooks or simply as a breakfast stop before a day exploring the city and its many restaurants. The bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with great attention to comfort and detail. Access into the city centre is easy either by bus or on foot, where there are galleries, theatres and shops along with the iconic Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace at either end of the Royal Mile. There is a wide range of pubs and restaurants throughout the city and many festivals held throughout the year. Being a relatively small city, exploring on foot is a great option. For variety, take day trips to the lovely beaches and golf courses of East Lothian or the Borders. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

    Worked perfectly for us. The property was a little tired, needs a freshen up as in sofas and beds not as comfortable as I would like but otherwise all good. Would have been nice to just have a pint of milk on arrival as we had a very long journey but Tesco is only a 5 minute walk away.

    The apartment was spacious and beautiful and Nancy was really warm and helpful. We could enter in earlier than the house rules and this was really great for us. The neighbour was very quiet and there was a lot of green. Nearby there is everything we needed for the nights that we spent at home. A great pub, super markets, bakery, the river etc. Edinburgh center is really close on foot, if you are fit, and by car. We really enjoyed our stay.
