Ideally situated in Edinburgh s residential area just about 2 km from Edinburgh Castle the Fountain Court Apartments EQ2 is a 20-minute walk to Edinburgh s historic High Street the Royal Mile. Guests can enjoy visiting Princes Street s shops and gardens about 2km away and the bars and restaurants are within 300 m of the EQ2. Guests will also find the eicc an easy 10-minute walk away from the property.

Edinburgh Quay is designed over six floors with some of the central apartments overlooking the beautifully regenerated EQ canal basin. This cool urban setting is home to smart apartments and equally stylish bars and restaurants from here to the heart of the city is a matter of minutes. These are truly lovely city centre apartments choose from 1 2 or 3 bedrooms or a huge duplex apartment.

Inside you ll find fully controllable central heating. Our apartments boast of wireless fibre optic broadband and a rather impressive entertainment system that includes an LCD cable television featuring selected Sky Sports channels superior CD player and TVs in the master and second bedrooms. The open plan living spaces include a generous dining area and a kitchen equipped with the latest appliances most master bedrooms have an ensuite shower room with hi-fi speaker. The bathrooms have a superb multi-position Grohe shower and complimentary toiletries.

Matching passport/drivers licence or photographic ID as well as a credit or debit card used for payment shall be required at check in for pre authorisation for £100-£200 (Security Deposit) per apartment as guarantee against any incidental charges such as telephone calls smoking damage within the apartment or communal areas or lost keys. Should the original credit card not be provided another card shall be required to make payment using the chip and PIN facility and the original card will be refunded This is carried out as part of our normal security checks in the interests of all guests to protect Fountain Court the booker and guests against credit card fraud. Cash or cheques will not be accepted.

For bookings of 3 or more apartments different payment and cancellation policies may apply in correspondence with the rate booked.

Fountain Court shall contact the customer directly upon booking with more information and additional supplements will apply.

Check-in is from 15.00 and check-out is at 10.30. Luggage can be stored for early arrivals and after check-out. Please contact us on our 24 hour mobile number 10 minutes prior to arrival in order to ensure someone is in Reception to check you in.

Directions to Fountain Court Apartments EQ2

From Edinburgh Airport take the A8 through Corstophine to Haymarket Terrace and follow signs for the City Centre. Continue on Shandwick Place and make a right turn onto Lothian Road. Continue on Lothian Road following signs for the A702. At the top of Lothian Road/Earl Grey Street there is a junction with three forks - take the right hand lane onto Home Street (A702). Once on Home Street take the right hand lane and turn right onto Gilmore Place (the King s Theatre will be on your left). Drive on for about 100 metres and you will see Gilmore Place Church on your left - take the right hand turn onto Lower Gilmore Place immediately opposite. From here follow signs for the EQ2 Apartments.

From the South take the A702 through Morningside and onto Bruntsfield that in turn leads onto Leven Street and Home Street. At the crossroads where Leven Street joins Home Street turn left into Gilmore Place (The King s Theatre will be on your right). Drive on for about 100 metres and you will see Gilmore Place Church on your left - take the right hand turn onto Lower Gilmore Place immediately opposite. From here follow signs for the EQ2 Apartments.
