Cauldside West Cottage was a cosy, well equipped place to stay in excellent surroundings. It was a perfect base to stay while visiting Edinburgh & the East Lothian area. It was nice to meet Helen, the owner, on our arrival.

For visiting East Lothian this cottage is ideal. It's basic but comfortable. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and as usual the local hares and deer didn't disappoint. Helen is a good host- ready to help if needed but otherwise unobtrusive. We find it a most relaxing place and ideally suited to us.
