The stay was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Though, if I have to point out one thing, I would say the heating is controlled by the owner and would have been better if the guests had the control of it. However, Nancy was kind enough to adjust the temp when we requested on a chilly day.

This is an absolutely beautiful cottage in a picturesque location. The cottage is stunning and has everything you would need for a lovely stay. The rooms are lovely sizes and all en-suite. Thank you so much to the lovely owners who left us homemade bread, shortbread & jam - a wonderful wee surprise & treat! Would highly recommend ❤️

We booked this property as a party of 6, coming to Scotland to intern my late Fathers ashes. Unfortunately, 2 of our party were unable to attend at the last minute due to poor health.Upon arrival at West Tannacrief, we were pleasantly surprised by the large bedroom areas all complete with ensuite, however the actual living area seemed very compact. Infact the kitchen, could only seat 4 at very close quarters. We had issues with the the heating & hot water which was disappointing as on one of the days nobody could shower as there wasn't any hot water. We were unable to use the dishwasher as it lacked salt & rinse aid which was provided when requested but the machine still did not want to run for some reason. This was frustrating as there were no tea towels, sponges or dish cloths provided. All fundamentals, we feel. The coat stand collapsed & needed attention. This property is clean & well presented & suited our needs this time but just a little attention to detail would have been better.
