Guests say

Gigha is a well-loved cottage praised for its stunning sea views, peaceful location, and cosy atmosphere. Guests enjoy local walks, beaches, and fresh seafood. The Ship Inn is a favourite for its warm welcome and hearty meals. While the cottage's quaint charm is celebrated, some guests note the kitchen and fridge/freezer could be updated, and a lighter duvet option would be appreciated. The welcome pack, including wine, adds a thoughtful touch, though such gifts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its beautiful sea views, proximity to beaches, and peaceful village setting, making it ideal for relaxation and sightseeing.

The cottage is repeatedly referred to as cosy and comfortable, with a few suggestions for improvements such as water pressure and bedding options.

While the cottage is generally well-equipped, some guests mention the kitchen is a bit dated and the fridge/freezer is too small for their needs.

The welcome pack is a delightful surprise for guests, though it's important to note that such gifts are kindly provided and may vary.

We absolutely loved the cottage especially the location the welcome pack was a great addition especially the wine 😀, there are great walks from the cottage. We were able to buy lobster straight from the fisherman's boat that came into the harbour as well , Also The Ship Inn in the village was fantastic, I can highly recommend it. Great food and portions were great , The only downside to the cottage however was the fridge/freezer it was for to small for our needs .other than that we had a great week , ☺️
