This pretty little cottage offers couples and all the comforts of home. This corner of south west Scotland, known as ‘The Rhins of Galloway’ is an unspoilt area and boasting idyllic scenery and amazing seascapes, as dramatic as they are beautiful. Just along the road from Ardwell Park is Drummore, Scotland’s most southerly village, and a short drive from the village is the Mull of Galloway, Scotland’s most southerly point. With its rspb visitor centre, the area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and you can enjoy a stunning circular walk where thousands of seabird nests in the cliff face during the spring and summer. Walking in the area is a delight whether clifftop, beaches, hills or forests, and is a cyclist’s paradise, with miles of quiet country lanes on your doorstep as well as the world famous 7Stanes within easy reach. Golfing and fishing opportunities are also in abundance in the area, so everyone is catered for. The walled garden is particularly breathtaking with its blaze of colour. Beach 200 yards.

Wonderful property in a lovely location 2 minutes walk to a big really quiet beach. The house was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Lovely welcome basket that was really thoughtful. No pub or shop in Ardwell but great shops a short drive away. Lots to do nearby, lovely walks, lots of wildlife- we loved watching the bunnies playing every morning. Only thing that could improve the stay (and it’s a really minor thing) would be bigger towels and comfier sofa/ chairs in the lounge. We would 100% stay here again and will be recommending to our family and friends.
