Ringford is a small village close to the majestic Solway Coast with an abundance of sandy beaches, rugged cliff tops and quaint little seaside villages to explore, while inland is the vast expanse of the Galloway Forest Park.  Walking and cycling is definitely a favourite pastime, so whether it be coastal or countryside walks or cycles, Kerrim Cottage is the perfect location to explore the area on foot or by bike.  For the more adventurous try one of the nearby 7Stanes mountain bike trails.  Whilst the village does not have a shop, the nearby town of Kirkcudbright has an excellent array of independent shops and cafés.  Kirkcudbright is known as ‘The Artists’ Town’; you can take a stroll along the historic High Street and visit the famous Broughton House,. . .
