This charming detached, single-storey cottage, with a beautiful garden, is situated only yards from the shore in the small hamlet of Kirkandrews. It is surrounded by stunning views over open countryside and only a couple of miles from the village of Borgue, with a local pub and restaurant. The nearest supermarket is 7½ miles away which offers a reliable delivery service.
Gullieside Cottage is situated only a short drive from the pretty harbour town of Kirkcudbright, locally known as the artists town, with many festivals throughout the year, including Scottish nights, classic car rallies, historic walks, a medieval fayre, a jazz festival and a spectacular Tattoo, as well as a good selection of pubs and restaurants. There is a large variety of outdoor pursuits on offer, including fishing, horse riding in Galloway Forest Park, cycling, golf and water sports. Threave Garden and Estate, owned by the National Trust, proves to be a popular visitor attraction. Dumfries is approximately 33 miles east and Castle Douglas, 16 miles, making this a wonderful base to tour South West Scotland. Beach 150 yards. Shop 7½ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Gorgeous cottage everything was just perfect warm comfy beds and furniture, fluffy big towels everything you need for your holiday great location beach just footsteps away this is our second stay in the area spent this one exploring the coast carrick bay and brighouse are a must Great butchers in kirkcudbright called Halls and lovely cafe called Canns Great cottage Great area love Scotland 🏴

Fabulous location and garden. Very cosy cottage but slightly damp and bedding could do with improving. Very cosy and well equipped but let down by poor WiFi (although didn’t spoil our holiday ) fab place for two people a bit small for 4. Beautiful location, very nice owners and gorgeous views at every turn. Great for dogs
