While there is a mention of a musty smell, the overall experience is highly regarded, with a special note on the thoughtful welcome basket provided by the host.

We had a wonderful stay at 9A Church Place. The apartment is very comfortable and had everything we needed - with lovely little touches like the Welcome basket and lots of carefully curated information about the local area. The bed was ever so comfy and it was lovely to sit with a cuppa and look out at the bowling green! The location was really good as it was a very short walk to Tescos and cafes, and the harbour. The owner gave us lots of recommendations for the area (we had a three year old with us) and we loved some of the places she recommended. Lots of places were closed for the winter but there was enough open to make it a great stay.

Great accommodation, very clean, cosy and with everything you might need. The bed was super comfortable!!! Lovely places to eat in Kircudbright… the Auld Alliance was fab and Scran and Swally was excellent and we had a warm welcome at the Masonic Arms pub. Lovely walks from the house. I would definitely recommend 9a Church Place.

Really enjoyed our stay in this larger than expected cottage, full of cozy rustic charm. Well equipped with a dishwasher, wifi & very comfortable bed. Happy to get our Netflix connected & there was basic sky tv. Big bath & plenty of hot water. Lovely location overlooking the bowling green & near the church so we could hear the hourly 'bongs'. Lovely communication from the owner & fab welcome basket too!Slightly confusing on entering the shared yard but once we found the correct door we were good! The only gripe I had was theres a musty smell throughout the property & we wernt sure on the outside bins.Would 100% stay again & heartily recommend to others!
