Perfectly located for Caerlaverock Castle and Wetlands Birds Trust, which is certainly worth a trip to. Dumfries is an attractive market town with so much to offer guests, including pubs, a selection of shops and a Post Office. Caerlaverock Castle is nearby, and is good for nature walks. The nearby attractions include Gracefield Arts Centre, an art gallery which is a Grade II listed building. Showcasing hundreds of Scottish paintings, with contemporary exhibits and a café on-site for a spot of lunch. Drumlanrig Castle is within driving distance, and is Grade I listed building. Boasting a grand landscaped gardens, and a woodland, with walking trails. With an extensive art collection inside and antique furnishings.
