Set within the beautiful countryside of South Scotland on the outskirts of the market town of Dumfries and only slightly further, the historic marketing town Castle Douglas. The area plays host to a wealth of fine pubs and restaurants, and many picturesque villages and hamlets. There are many attractions in the area for all, including Caerlaverock, Threave and Drumlanrig castles, Robert Burns house, numerous golf courses and wildlife reserves. Solway Firth is within easy reach, with 200 miles of spectacular coastline and sandy beaches to visit. For the more active, there are plenty of walking, hiking and cycling routes and the famous Seven Stanes mountain bike trail.

Step inside this luxury lodge into the hall through to the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a large comfy sofa surrounding the TV and wood burner effect fire and French doors leading directly out to the fully enclosed patio. The dining area has comfy chairs around the dining table, the perfect place to reminisce and catch up with friends. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and wine cooler. Once the day is done, head to the bedrooms, first is the king size bedroom with French doors leading directly out to the enclosed decking, this bedroom also has a TV, an en suite shower and WC.

The final bedroom is a twin zip and link (which can be made into a super king size on request) with TV. Next door is the spacious and stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Finally completing the property is the utility cupboard in the hallway with a handy washer/dryer. Venturing outside to the enclosed spacious decked area with direct access from the lounge and king size bedroom. There is a large hot tub enjoying lovely valley views and seating area with table and chairs. Ample off road parking is at the rear of the lodge.
