Great stay at the carriage! Lovely and peaceful area. Lovely big, soft bath towels, and everything you could need is provided. Location is great, few minutes walk to the bus stop, and short journey to castle Douglas or kircudbright. Dog friendly and love big outside area for our dog. The host was lovely, met us on arrival and provided information on local walks and things to do. Although the weather was awful, we would definitely recommend this carriage and will be back! Hopefully when the weather is better 😊

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend a visit to this carriage. It is different to a lodge or caravan and it’s in lovely surroundings. The owners are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible

Generally good. Nice welcome pack. Lovely setting and peaceful. The outside decking and seating area was great, unfortunately because of the weather we were not able to use it. The owners were lovely and gave us an invite to the area. Information pack was comprehensive, with maps and recommended eating establishments.Despite the fact it rained every day we managed to spend time in Threave Gardens and at some of the local beaches.
