Fully refurbished throughout, Cnocachanach (Knock-a-han-ach) cottage is the ideal escape for a couple looking for a quiet, away-from-it-all break. This lovely coastal cottage is all ground floor with open plan living accommodation comprising a fitted kitchen, dining area and seating area around a cosy woodburning stove. A double bedroom and ensuite shower room complete the accommodation. The rear garden has lovely open views across the countryside and there is a decked area to the side of the cottage which is ideal for catching some sun as you soak up the tranquil atmosphere. The cottage sits on a quiet road which meanders along the shore and the coast is only a minute’s walk from your from door and there are sheltered bays a short walk along the coast which are ideal for bathing. There is superb walking and cycling from your doorstep and The Kilberry Inn, an award winning restaurant is 5 miles further round the coast, although the opening times are seasonal. Why not take the short ferry crossing to Potavadie with its marina and restaurant complex offering beautiful views while you dine. Travel further round the Ardlamont peninsula and explore Tighnabruaich and the stunning Kyles of Bute. Tarbert is only 10 miles away and has a full range of amenities and shops as well as an attractive harbour and a nine hole golf course with the picturesque backdrop of West Loch Tarbert. A superb coastal holiday cottage offering attractions whatever the season.

Built around an inlet on Loch Fyne, Tarbert has long been both a harbour and a key strategic point in the history of Scotland's rugged West Coast. Tarbert is home to castle ruins and can still be visited today. The village offers fishing and sailing and walking for all levels and with ferry connections to Islay and Arran, there is simply no better location to relax and explore this part of Scotland.
