From Oban’s bustling harbour, there are daily boat trips to the surrounding islands, including Mull, Staffa and Iona where porpoise, dolphins, whales and basking sharks are often spotted. Local activities include walking, mountain biking, kayaking and skiing. There are plenty of castles, gardens and historic sites to explore or literally on your doorstep there are a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Oban also has a cinema and leisure centre. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

The view out of the flat was amazing! It was fun to watch the and boats coming and going. Great base going to Mull for an explore. Throughly recommend the Oban Sea tours - saw lots of wildlife and tours guides well informed. Piazza was well worth having a meal at too. Flat was very well equipped and the towels were very very thick too.

The apartment was beautiful and the lounge overlooked the harbour and the Island of Kerrera. It was lovely to see the ships and smaller boats coming and going throughout the day. Being centrally located, made it perfect for exploring the town and eating out, without having to use the car.The kitchen, bathroom and lounge had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable too.We all had a wonderful time exploring the local area, including exploring the peninsula of The Mull of Kintyre, Ganavan Sands, Dunstaffnage Castle and Chapel, the Island of Mull and Glencoe and Loch Etive, to name but a few.Would highly recommend.
