The local area offers beautiful trails, wildlife spotting and opportunities for day trips to nearby towns such as Oban (3 miles), where you’ll find local shops, cafes and cultural highlights. Oban, known as the Seafood Capital of Scotland, has a wide range of seafood and fish restaurants and an excellent fish shop if you wish to cook your own. A visit to the Green Seafood Shack on the quayside is a must for those who love their shellfish. The town is also known as the Gateway to the Isles, with the ferry terminal on South Pier providing access by boat to Mull, Colonsay, Tiree, Lismore and Barra.

Set in an elevated position, the lodge is approached via a short path leading to the terrace and private entrance. Inside, the accommodation is arranged across one level, creating a practical and comfortable space. The main living area is a bright lounge featuring plush seating, a TV and French doors that open directly onto the decking, allowing light to flood in and making the most of the views. The adjoining kitchen is compact yet well-equipped, with contemporary units and all the essentials needed for a self-catering stay. A small breakfast bar/dining space provides a convenient spot for meals. There are two bedrooms: a neatly presented double bedroom and a twin room ideal for children or friends. Both rooms are simply styled for calm nights and benefit from natural light through large windows. The interior is completed by a gleaming shower room for a refreshing rinse after a day of discovery.

Outside, the raised deck is a standout feature, complete with outdoor seating and a picnic bench for enjoying morning coffee or evening meals while taking in the rural views.
