The ideal holiday for keen outdoor adventure seekers, the Isle of Mull offers plenty of coastal and mountain walks including the towering Ben More just 7 miles away. Engage in some Scottish history with trips to Moy Castle, Torosay Castle or the nail biting dungeons of Duart Castle, all accessible within 22 miles, or take the ferry to the peaceful Isle of Iona from the village of Fionnphort (14 miles). Keep an eye out for exotic local wildlife throughout your stay, as lucky previous guests have spotted puffins, otters, sea eagles, Highland cattle and red deer. Offering a sociable space to relax and enjoy one another's company, the heart of this house is its open plan living space. To one side of the room you can curl up on a sofa and enjoy one of the many books available or watch a DVD on the TV. A cosy wood burner and tartan blankets create a truly cosy atmosphere on those cooler Scottish evenings. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of family life as you cook, with the well equipped kitchen to the other side of this large room. Turn on the stereo and make use of fridge, freezer, electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher in order to feed ten hungry mouths and find space to settle around the dining table adjacent to the kitchen. To the centre of this room is a charming window seat boasting stunning views of the loch. A utility room on this floor houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a cloakroom and a WC. A unique wooden staircase leads to the first floor and the location of the five spacious bedrooms. The spacious master double has an en suite with a large bath and WC, as well as a sofa for relaxing whilst your other half gets ready. A second double has an en suite with a WC and shower, whilst two twin bedrooms both contain hand basins. Completing the property is a cosy bunk bedroom for children and a small bathroom. A beautiful area of enclosed garden can be found to the side of the property, and privacy is assured thanks to the secluded location of the home. Enjoy outdoor dining on the picnic benches in the garden or wander down to the loch's sandy shores and play some ball games. Find plenty of parking space around the property. Water supply please note the property has a private supply which is tested and UV filtered. The water can be brown in colour due to peaty ground; although this is safe to drink, guests may prefer to bring bottled water for the duration of their stay. Wood burner (first basket of logs included additional logs available with honesty jar for usage). Small stream flowing through the garden young children must be supervised.
