Tucked away in a small woodland in the seaside village of Rhu is this bright, welcoming cottage, Dunaivon Cottage. Off road parking and ample internal storage allows for a comfortable and easy stay so you can quickly relax and soak up the beautiful surrounds. There is a large garden as well as the woodland to absorb the tranquil location. On the ground floor is a spacious, comfortable double bedroom with a TV and en-suite shower room. Climb upstairs to find a lovely open-plan living area bathed in natural light. Huge windows look out to the woodland, which is magical as it changes through the seasons. The sitting room is tastefully furnished with a sofa, armchairs, coffee table and tv. This area includes a stylish kitchen, complete with all the necessities for a self-catering experience. The first floor also hosts a peaceful double bedroom, along with an en-suite shower room. Dunaivon Cottage makes a restorative stay with many walks right from its front door, through woods, glens and by the sea. Further afield there are many places to explore: Greenock (33 miles away), National Trust properties, Loch Lomond, Arrochar Alps and much more! For a wealth of amenities there are regular trains into Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fort William and Oban from Helensburgh station. For a restful escape to the countryside, choose Dunaivon Cottage.

Settled on the east shore of he Gare Loch in Argyll and Bute in Scotland, is the delightful village of Rhu. The village hosts a well-stocked local shop, two pubs and a coffee shop for a spot of lunch. Visit the wooded, Glenarn Gardens, which overlooks the Gareloch. The nearby town of Helensburgh offers a wider selection of restaurants, including beachside eateries and attractions such as, a swimming pool, a golf course and the National Trust property, The Hill House.
