About this Holiday Cottage

Perfect for couples or families of up to four people, Lyall Cliff Cottage in Dunoon is set just back from the promenade and offers attractive accommodation ideal for relaxing breaks throughout the year.

Inside

The cottage has double glazing, central heating and a bright sitting room with two piece suite, Freeview TV, DVD player and coffee tables. The sitting room also offers scenic views over the coast, sea and there is a dining area which can seat four. The well equipped kitchen has a washer/ dryer, electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and all utensils.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

There is one double and one twin bedroom which share use of a bathroom with bath and electric shower. The twin bedroom is most suited to children and has 2' 6" wide beds. Lovely sea-views can be enjoyed from the double bedroom.

Outside

The cottage is set in large attractive gardens and also has parking facilities.

Other Things to Note

All energy costs are included except gas which is charged extra by meter. This will be read at the beginning and end of the stay with the amount due payable on departure morning. The check in time is 4.30pm and check out time is by 9.30am.

Discounted ferry tickets can be provided when requested at the time of booking.

The rental price includes towels, bed linen and starter supplies of kitchen roll, loo roll, soap and two refuse bags.

Availability

2-4 four night short breaks are normally available except during July and August. Please note that we do not accept children under four years old or pets.

Around and About

The town of Dunoon is easily reach via a one hour train or car ride from Glasgow to Gourock followed by a twenty minute ferry journey. You can also travel by the M8/A8 from Glasgow to Gourock where there are two ferry services to Dunoon. Known as the south western gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the town has plenty of shops, a golf club, tennis facilities and bowling. Excellent hill walking, cycling and other outdoor activities can be found nearby and a popular walking festival 'Cowalfest' takes place each October. Local attractions include the award winning Castle House Museum, Castle House Gardens, the refurbished Riverside Leisure Centre, the Bishop's Glen and Morag's Fairy Glen.
