An outstanding location with a lovely bay looking toward the hills and mountains of Arran. The cottage is well furnished and cosy and our host was most welcoming. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Cosy and comfortable cottage. Fantastic location with beautiful bay and views across to Arran just 1 minute's stroll from the front door. Great network of paths for local walks. Alan, the host, was extremely welcoming and helpful.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen that had recently been upgraded. Port Righ bay is just a couple of minutes from the door, excellent for wild swimming or watching the wildlife and Carradale Bay is 10 minutes walk in the other direction. The local shop has a fair selection for a wee shop and it's not too long a scenic drive in to Campbeltown where there are larger shops. The owner Alan is very helpful and friendly. The cottage is at the rear of the main building, Dunvalanree Apartments, so doesn't share the same view of the bay and over to Arran as the apartments. We did pop in for a coffee with a couple staying in an apartment which was very spacious with an excellent view and equally well equipped as the cottage. We will be back.
