Guests say

Ballygroggan Bungalow is highly praised for its immaculate condition, stunning and peaceful location, and warm, comfortable atmosphere. Guests appreciate the modern amenities, helpful host, and the property's proximity to local shops and scenic walks. The tranquillity and natural beauty of the area, including views of nearby islands, make it a desirable retreat.

Reviewers consistently describe the property as spotless and immaculate, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is celebrated for its tranquillity, stunning views, and proximity to nature and local amenities, though its remoteness and access via a single track road are noted.

The property is generally regarded as warm and comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests mention that the mattress and sofas could be improved for enhanced comfort.

Facilities are well-received, with the property being well-equipped for cooking and relaxation. However, the absence of a tumble dryer, despite being advertised, and suggestions for additional items like a washing line and dustpan, slightly affect the score.

While the host is commended for being helpful and responsive, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. It should be noted that while a welcome pack was expected, it was not provided.

Wonderful views from a quiet and peacefully located modern bungalow. We don't walk as far as we used to in younger days but the walking we did do was fabulous.

It's a wonderful peaceful location. The cottage is warm with everything you need. The description online should be corrected as it specifies a tumble dryer - there isn't one, we packed anticipating one. It wasn't a problem for just the two of us, but for others it may have been necessary to use a launderette somewhere.I marked local amenities neutral because it's a farm quite remote so local amenities doesn't really apply. Shops are only 15 minutes away. The owners are really helpful and friendly, communication was great.Would we go back? Yes absolutely.

A really lovely place to stay, warm and comfortable and well equipped. Stunning location, amazing views and really quiet with only the sea and bleating sheep in the background. Good walks from the property, and a beautiful beach nearby for long dog walks. Be aware the access is a long single track road, albeit with passing places and fairly good visibility, and radio and tv are via the internet. Neither caused any issues and we would come back without any hesitation.
