Luxury Three Bed Lodge on the Banks of Loch Lomond

Located in one of the most enviable spots on Loch Lomond with panoramic views that stretch out across the water to the mountains beyond, this stunning 3,500 sq. ft property offers guests an experience they will not forget.

The outdoor space alone is a Lochside haven you may never want to leave. The large, spacious, private deck is filled with a choice of seating areas where you can unwind and relax. Enjoy al-fresco dining and barbecues or gather at the cocktail table with a drink and watch the sunset.

Relax on the sun loungers, by the heated infinity pool and spa which overlook the Loch- the pool is temperature is regulated all year round, so the brave can take a dip on even the coolest of days.

An outdoor tennis-table and pool table will keep the family entertained for hours, especially the kids who can occupy themselves whilst the adults enjoy the privileged Loch side position.

For an alternative meal experience, there is an outdoor dining pod where guests of the House can enjoy an evening of cosy, private dining, with the glass dome keeping you warmly ensconced regardless of the weather.

Or for something a little more rustic, there is a BBQ Hut where house guests can gather in a Scandinavian inspired cabin and cook up a storm on the central grill with an adjustable smoke chimney.

Whilst the outdoor space is very impressive, the warm, sumptuous decor and attention to detail ensure the interior of the House is equally special.

Upon entering, you are immediately greeted by a spacious entrance hall which offers plenty of storage areas to discard hiking jackets and muddy wellies after a day of adventuring, further complimented by a wetsuit changing room, shower room and WC-ensuring all the practical arrangements are in place for an active stay.

The far end of the hallway leads you to a grand, inviting living space full of contemporary Highland charm with underfloor heating, a large living flame fireplace and beautiful soft furnishings. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to get together for an evening of fun and games or nestle in front of the Smart TV which comes complete with a selection of Sky TV channels and movies on demand (charges apply). You will also find a Bose Bluetooth speaker and a PlayStation 5 for ultimate entertainment.

Passing through the living area you will find a delightful dining room with a large round dining table which functions as a great indoor social hub in the evenings.

The dining area forms part of large open-plan entertaining space alongside a fully equipped kitchen which comes with everything you could need for the duration of your stay and more. Complete with a well-appointed breakfast table which adjoins a large kitchen island.

The luxury Poggenpohl kitchen boats a sleek yet natural feel and features Siemens appliances including two ovens, a dishwasher, glass-fronted fridge, and washer dryer. There is also a bean-to-cup coffee machine for the perfect start to your day as well as cocktail making machine for an evening of entertaining. Or if you are not in the mood to plan the evening’s festivities yourself, a private chef can be pre-arranged for you.

Please note that highchairs, as well as travel cots are available upon request, on a complimentary basis.

On the ground floor you will also find the first of five beautiful bedrooms. This downstairs bedroom provides a twin room which is a zip-and-link bed that can also be configured into a king size. This room is ideal for those families travelling with teenagers or in groups. Adorned with fluffy pillows and Italian linen, the cosy beds sit opposite another Smart TV so guests can better enjoy their lazy mornings. The ground floor bedroom is served by an ensuite wet room which comes complete with floor to ceiling tiles for a fresh, clean look.

Upstairs you will find another four bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Bedrooms 2 and 3 provide king size zip-and-link beds which can be configured according to your needs. Whilst bedrooms 4 and 5 feature grand emperor beds, creating an idyllic sanctuary from which you can enjoy long mornings with a cup of coffee and views out to the Loch.

All the ensuite bathrooms feature Temple Spa products, Toto Washlets, Drench shower heads and fresh floor to ceiling tiling. Each bedroom also boasts a Smart TV complete with a full Sky package, safe deposit box, automatic mini bar, and a phone. The beds are decorated with Mascioni bedding, plump cushions and cashmere throws for a touch of luxury.

With a secure gated entrance, the house has parking for four vehicles as well as an EV charging point for one car.

Things to know about the property.

There is a security deposit of £500 payable upon arrival at The Retreat which is refundable upon inspection of the property post stay.

We know that guests go on holiday to relax and escape and that can sometimes mean enjoying a tipple or two. Drinks packages can be pre-ordered, and alcohol can be purchased on site but we kindly request due to the waterside location, that guests do not bring their own alcohol to consume in the property.

The premises are licensed only for the sale of alcohol in accordance with the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 for which the proprietors carry responsibility as License Holders.

Whilst Wi-Fi connectivity is available on site, signal strength can vary due to the rural location. For peace of mind, guests have the option to hire a commercial SIM for an additional fee. Premium Wi-Fi will incur an additional charge of £5.00 per day, per service.

Should you wish for a daily housekeeping service for the duration of your stay this can be offered at an additional charge.
