If what you are looking for is olde worlde charm then this the place for you. Its not 5 star but its comfortable, functional, quiet and its in a castle! There is everything you need for a few days away, a short work to the beach is a must and to get to have a tour of the rest of the castle was wonderful, even being knighted by the lady of the castle Vivienne which makes me a Lord and a Sir! A few tweeks needed re the TV reception, the use of the TV stick works if you know. a nice touch was the electric blanket in the bedroom, a real help for the cooler nights.Would we stay again - YES in a heartbeat.

Disappointing. Sofa and beds not comfortable, shower needs a remodel. Only 1 electric heater for the apartment and damp throughout. No drying rack. Mouldy smell in the rooms. Owners were nice and knowledgeable about the local area.

I really enjoyed my week here, quiet and relaxing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is stocked with all you need. Could do with a new sofa, but it did the job. Location is superb, lots of walking and a fantastic castle just down the road. The tour of their castle was fantastic. I would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to just chill for a while.
