While remote, a lovely location with lots of local walks. Edzell, Forfar and Brechin all reasonably handy. Well equipped and comfortable.

We've just had another relaxing week at GlenEffock, it's a great place for chilling and enjoying the peace and quiet. For families this farmhouse is great value for money, for us as a couple it does work out quite expensive though. This was our 3rd visit and we use the downstairs bedroom, the only time we go upstairs is to use the shower, so a downstairs shower would be great. The dogs enjoyed chasing each other round the garden, however one day there was a shoot round the farmhouse and one of our dogs was terrified. So if your dog is afraid of guns/fireworks, please check with the owners about shoot dates. We are planning our next trip and we are looking forward to be back up the Glen.
