Tap o’ Noth, the second highest hillfort in Scotland, is based locally near the village of Rhynie. The beautiful gardens at Leith Hall Estate are located 7 miles away, an afternoon here is a lovely, calming way to spend your time.
Rowantree Court is approximately 25 miles from The Lecht ski centre, making it a convenient place to stay all year round. The ruins of Kildrummy Castle and Huntly Castle are a short drive away and provide a fantastic look into the history of the castle and this area. Glendronach Distillery is easily accessible around 25 miles away. The nearest town of Alford promises a fun-filled day out with the seasonal Transport Museum and dry ski slope. The apartment was clean and very well presented. Local area was lovely and quite with some lovely walks . There is know real local amenities but the run to Huntly is a lovely one where you will find Asda Tesco and local amenities and a bit of History . We will be returning in the future

The property was immaculate. Lots of walks in the area. You would need transport to get further a field and to get shopping although I did see supermarket delivery vans delivering to other properties. Surrounding area very pretty and extremely quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this property.
