First and foremost - if you read past reviews about problems with the access road, it has been repaired! The house is wonderful and the owners are charming people. The surrounding is magnificent no matter whether you want to go for a hike or visit Aberdeen. We enjoyed our holidays very much.

Comfortable, clean, well equipped cottage in very quiet, secluded location. We had a very enjoyable holiday. The exterior of the cottage, however, was in urgent need of some attention. The woodwork needed painting and the ‘lawn’ seems not to have been cut this year. We were fortunate not to meet anyone on the quarter mile drive in, as there are no passing places and reversing would be difficult. The lack of a freezer, or even a freezing compartment in the fridge, was a disadvantage. Overall I would say the cottage has huge potential and could be stunning, but it does need some tlc.
