Our 3rd trip to this cottage. We love the location, the peace, and the tranquillity. It is remote, but that's what we go for. It's a great place to recharge your batteries. Don't expect Internet connectivity or mobile phone signals within the cottage. You need to stand outside at least 80 yards from the cottage to get a signal. The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, a wood burner, and a large comfy bed. Supermarkets are within a 10-minute drive. We had snow this year, and the estate manager,Alastair, did come to check on us to see if we were alright and if we needed anything, which was a welcome touch and offers reassurance that they are contactable if necessary. Overall, it was a lovely relaxing stay.
